Born in Tbilisi, Georgia, and forged in Brooklyn, my endless curiosity and constant enthusiasm for exploration have always informed my creative design process. With over a decade of design experience in New York, I've designed biker apparel, as well as upcycled high fashion pieces for an art collective Imitation of Christ founded by artists Tara Subkoff and Matthew Damhave, and built a restaurant brand, that was featured in the New Yorker. Nestanni is my birth name and design nom de plume. When I'm not designing, I love teaching Hatha yoga and contemplating color theory while basking in the winter sun. I am constantly searching for ways to effectively integrate technical design, social activism (reflecting my values), innovation, and commercial applicability while creating unique social experiences.
